How to clear cache and cookies

If you’re experiencing location or game issues, clearing your browser’s cache and cookies can often resolve the problem. Follow the instructions below for your browser or device.


Quick Shortcut (Desktop & Mobile)

Press Ctrl + Shift + Delete simultaneously to open the clear-data window in Internet Explorer, Edge, Chrome, or Firefox. Then follow the prompts to clear cache and cookies.


Google Chrome

  1. Tap the three dots in the upper-right corner and select Settings.

  2. Choose Privacy and security and then delete browsing data

  3. Check Cookies and other site data, Cached images and files and put time range to all time.

  4. Click Clear data.


Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the three dots in the upper-right corner and select Settings.

  2. In the left menu, choose Privacy, search, and services.

  3. Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.

  4. Check Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.​

5. Check the boxes "Cookies and other site data", and "Cached images and files". It's not necessary to delete your browsing history. Click Clear data.


Safari (macOS)

  1. Click Safari in the menu bar and select Settings.

  2. Go to the Privacy tab and click Manage Website Data.

  3. Click Remove All, then Remove Now.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the three horizontal lines in the upper-right corner and select Settings.

  2. Click Privacy & Security on the left, then scroll to Cookies and Site Data.

  3. Click Clear Data…, check Cookies and Site Data and Cached Web Content, then click Clear.
